उस समय वह द्वीप के समान बन गया, जो अथाह जल में डूब रहा था। फिर चेतना प्राप्त कर, हे राजन्, वीरता और पराक्रम से सम्पन्न तुम्हारे पुत्र ने तीखे बाणों से पार्थ का सामना करना पुनः आरम्भ किया — जैसे पुरन्दर ने वृत्र असुर का सामना किया था। विशाल देह वाले तुम्हारे पुत्र ने अर्जुन को बाणों से बेधा, किन्तु अर्जुन को उससे तनिक भी पीड़ा न हुई।

English Summary
