जो अज्ञानी और शोकग्रस्त कबूतर अपनी स्त्री और बच्चों को जाल में फँसे, मृत्यु के वश में तड़पते देखकर भी स्वयं उसी जाल में जा फँसा — उस गृहस्थ कबूतर को, उसकी मादा को और उसके बच्चों को पाकर वह चतुर शिकारी प्रसन्न मन से घर लौट गया। जो मनुष्य उस कबूतर की भाँति गृह और परिजनों में आसक्त होकर, अनियन्त्रित चित्त से अत्यधिक मोह के कारण अपने परिवार का पालन करता है — वह अपने शरीर सहित नष्ट हो जाता है। जिसे यह मनुष्य-जन्म प्राप्त हुआ है — जो मोक्ष का सीधा मार्ग है — और जो फिर भी उस पक्षी की भाँति गृह में आसक्त रहता है, उसे शास्त्रों में अच्युत से विमुख कहा गया है।
English Summary
Even seeing his wife and children in the net moving about in agony in the net being possessed by death, the ignorant and sorrowful pigeon also got himself into the net. Obtaining that householder pigeon, his mate and his young ones, the wily hunter returned home satisfied. Whoever being attached to home and relations and being of uncon- trolled mind, maintains his family out of excessive attach- ment for them like that pigeon, he is consumed with his body. He who obtaining human birth, which is verely road to final liberation, is attached to home like the bird, is described in Shastras, (spiritual texts).as one remote from Achyuta. a E a E snee
