उस पाप-आत्मा को और उसके समस्त सहयोगियों को, यश, राज्य और सुख की अभिलाषा से अपना पूर्ण पराक्रम प्रकट करते हुए तुम वध करो। तुम दोनों महाबली हो, तुम दोनों महायशस्वी हो। हे पार्थ, जैसे देवासुर-संग्राम में कोई देवता और दानव एक-दूसरे से भिड़ते हैं, वैसे ही युद्ध में परस्पर सामना करते हुए तुम अपना पराक्रम समस्त कौरवों को दिखाओ। हे भरतकुलश्रेष्ठ, तुम्हें महाक्रोध से भरा और कर्ण को भी रोष से उद्दीप्त देखकर, दुर्योधन क्रोध में भी कुछ न कर सकेगा। हे भरतकुलश्रेष्ठ, यह स्मरण करो कि तुम्हारी आत्मा पवित्र है, और यह भी स्मरण करो कि राधापुत्र धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर के प्रति महान् वैर रखता है — हे कुन्तीपुत्र, अब जो करणीय है, वह करो। धर्मपूर्वक युद्ध में चित्त लगाकर उस रथियों के नायक के सम्मुख बढ़ो। वहाँ पाँच सौ श्रेष्ठ रथी, हे रथियों में उत्तम, जो महान् बल से सम्पन्न हैं।
English Summary
Let that wicked- souled one, along with all those allies of his, be slain by thee, putting forth thy vigour, from desire of winning fame, kingdom and happiness.
