धृतराष्ट्र ने कहा — हे सञ्जय, मुझे बताओ कि कर्ण ने भारी संहार करते हुए किस प्रकार पाण्डव सेना के मध्य में प्रवेश किया और राजा युधिष्ठिर को आघात पहुँचाकर उन्हें पीड़ित किया। पार्थों में कौन-कौन से वीरशिरोमणि थे जिन्होंने कर्ण का सामना किया? और युधिष्ठिर को पीड़ित करने में सफल होने से पूर्व कर्ण ने किन-किन वीरों को परास्त किया?

English Summary

The Battle rages fiercely Dhritarashtra said, "Tell me, O Sanjaya, how Kama, having caused a great slaughtered penetrated into the midst of the Pandava troops, and struck and afflicted king Yudhishthira. Who were those foremost of heroes among the Parthas that resisted Kama ? Who were they whom Kama crushed before he could succeed in afflicting Yudhishthira ?"
