अपनी आध्यात्मिक साधना के द्वारा मन को शुद्ध करके उसने अन्त में मोक्ष प्राप्त किया। इसी कारण प्रत्येक बुद्धिमान पुरुष को सदा कुसंगति से दूर रहना चाहिए और सत्पुरुषों की संगति करनी चाहिए। यह देखा गया है कि केवल सत्पुरुष ही अपने सदुपदेशों की तलवार से मन के समस्त आसक्तियों के बन्धन काट सकते हैं। वे पुरुष सत्य और सदाचारी माने जाते हैं, जो बिना किसी फल की कामना के सदा मेरा चिन्तन करते हैं, जो शान्तचित्त हैं, जो सबके प्रति समभाव रखते हैं, जो किसी भी विषय में आसक्ति नहीं रखते, जो अहंकार से रहित हैं, जो कभी विरोध का भाव नहीं रखते और न ही कलह में प्रवृत्त होते हैं, और जो गृहस्थी का पोषण नहीं करते।
English Summary
mind, by means of his spiritual culture, and at last attained final liberation. For this reason, every intelligent person should always shun bad company, and should associate with the honest and the virtuous. It has been seen that only the virtuous can sever all attachments of the mind by the sword of their moral teachings. Those persons are consi- dered to be honest and virtuous, who always reflect upon me without any hope of rewards, and who are peaceful, and who observe equality, and who have no passion for any object, and who show no pride, and who never entertain any idea of contradiction or engage in quarrels, and who never maintain a family.
