मैं उस परमतत्त्व का नित्य ध्यान करता हूँ — जिसने अपनी एकता के बल पर माया को स्वयं से दूर कर दिया है; जो समस्त भय से मुक्त है; जो इस ब्रह्माण्ड की सृष्टि, पालन और संहार का निरन्तर साक्षी है; जो प्रकृति और पुरुष को उत्पन्न करने वाली सृजन-शक्ति है; जो इस जगत की रचना करके उसमें व्याप्त हो जाता है; जो उस शरीर को नियन्त्रित करता है जो विषयों के भोग का साधन है; और जिसे प्राप्त करके देह में विराजमान आत्मा उस भ्रामक शक्ति को उसी प्रकार त्याग देती है, जैसे निद्रा में वह इस शरीर की चेष्टाओं से कोई सम्बन्ध नहीं रखती।
English Summary
Ido eternally meditate on that most high who has by means of his singleness driven away illusion from himself ; who is free from all fear ; who is the constant witness of the creation, preservation and annihilation of this Universe ; who is the creative energy that hath brought forth Prakriti and Purusha ; who permeates this Universe after having created it, who governs the body that is instrumental in enjoying the objects of this world ; and attaining to whom the soul enshrined inside the body discards the illusive energy, just as during sleep it bears no connection with the motions of this body.
